As ARPA funding is distributed across the city agencies, there are several funding opportunities for community-based organizations and nonprofit organizations to partner with city agencies to assist with their recovery from the negative impacts of the COVID-19 health pandemic.

Fiscal Year 2023 Capital Magnet Fund Program

On January 18, 2023, the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund grants to certified Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and specific nonprofit organizations to finance affordable housing. The closing date for applications is February 23, 2023. Additional details on application requirements are available on the CDFI Fund’s website.

Baltimore Community Grants Program

The Mayor’s Office partners with the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation to award grants of up to $10,000 to small neighborhood-based non-profits that provide direct services to Baltimore residents and families. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
